On September 24th, the major technical equipment & technological achievements in 2013 of Chinese Academy of Sciences ( CAS) in Deyang, Sichuan province. The vice president of CAS Erwei Shi, GuoBiao Gu the academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, the director of CAS science and technology development bureau Qing Yan, The Secretary of Chengdu branch, Executive Vice-President Xueding Wang, vice-president Yongtao Zhao,and the vice-director of the Sichuan province science and technology agency Menglin Zhou ,and vice-inspector Xiucheng Hu ,and vice –secretary of Deyang municipal party committee &the mayor Xinyou chen, and vice-mayor Shumo Qian attended the meeting.
Chengdu branch and the Deyang city signed a new round of the science and technology cooperation agreement on the meeting; Dongfang electric group co.,LTD, and Shenyang automation institute of Chinese academy of sciences signed 10 projects of science and technology cooperation; Sichuan zhongguang lightning protection technology co., and Tsinghua university signed 10 special projects of major equipment manufacturing industry transformation of scientific and technological achievements in Sichuan province. Eight institutes of CAS also released the latest scientific and technological achievements covering areas such as new energy, chemical, material, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) etc.
Xinyou Chen said that deyang will build a good platform ,do well docking and efforts to create a good environment for science and technology achievements transformation and industrializastion, and make the scientific and technological achievements of CAS blossom and yield fruit. He hopes that CAS supported deyang in technology then speed up science and technology innovation ability and promote transformation and upgrading of industry and speed up the economic and social development.
Menglin Zhou introduced the significant science and technology achievements transformation projects in Sichuan province, Sichuan provincial government put the science and technology achievements transformation prominent position, stressed the research and development and grasped transformation which have already achieved obviously results. As one of the major equipment science and technology achievements transformation special project which has been in new energy, aerospace, rail transportation and other fields to organize the implementation of the 95 key projects, output value of 60.8 billion RMB. Mr.Zhou said that the next step will be in such aspects which is capital, policy and talent to strengthening the support for the science and technology achievements transformation, through the politic-industry-university-research collaborative innovation, promote economic and social development in Sichuan.
Xueding Wang introduced that the overall situation of the Sichuan province cooperated with the CAS. He said, the next step will be the major science and technology needs of the local economic and social development, combined with the”135” planning which was CAS and the institute of Sichuan province cooperation, will carry on more in-depth cooperation in these aspects such as improve the cooperation, implementation of the major projects, build a cooperation platform and strengthen the talent exchange etc.
Erwei Shi pointed that science and technology innovation must serve the regional economic and social development, the CAS should play the organizational advantage and strengthen enterprise’s cooperative innovation, efforts to scientific and technological achievements transfer into the real productive forces. Contribute to economic and social development in Sichuan province. He hoped that with the aid of the good cooperation foundation of the CAS and Sichuan provincial, build the scientific and technological innovation achievement transformation experiment of demonstration corridor in Deyang, Mianyang, Panzhihua areas etc., boosting economic and social development of Sichuan province. At the same time, and hoped that the both parties conscientiously implement the
signed projects, build the existing platform tighter, strengthen the personal interaction and the information communication and quickly formulate the strategic plan about the 13 th five years plan.
After the meeting, Erwei Shi inspected the Oriental motor co., LTD., and Dongfang turbine co., LTD. The director of Sichuan province science and technology agency Yuxing Peng was accompanied the inspection activity.
Science and technology development bureau of CAS, Chengdu branch, 27 institutes of CAS, Sichuan province science and technology agency and more than 90 enterprises of Deyang in sum of 150 people participated in this conference.
