On Dec 28th, Sichuan translational medicine research hospital, CAS was held the first session of the council and the academic committeefounding. The vice president Zhang Yaping of CAS, the deputy secretary-general Wu Jianguo, the frontier bureau Xu Ruiming of CAS, the secretary of party committee and executive vice-president Wang Xueding of Chengdu branch, the deputy secretary-general Cai Jing, the deputy director Zhou Menglin of the science and teachnology department, and the vice associate counsel Liu Jie of the Health department etc. attendance the meeting.
On the meeting, Wu Jianguo read out the council member list and Cai Jingxuan read out the academic committee member list. The council is compose of both CAS and Province, a total of 16 people, Zhang Yaping as the chairman of the translational medicine research hospital. The academic committee is compose of academicians of CAS and related to domain experts, a total of 15 people, biological physics of CAS.

Zhang Yaping point out the CAS in accordance with the requirements of Central General Secretary of Xi Jinping, continuous innovation, innovative talents and innovation thought, by “four leading” lead all the work. President of CAS Bai Chunli who came to Sichuan several times in past two years, was deeply in conversation CAS-provincial cooperation with General Secretary of Wang Dongming ect., and actively promote the major projects of CAS-provincial cooperation. Now the hospital has had a very good start, including compact the research target, carry out the academic activities, promote project cooperation, personnel training and improve the organization etc. which are progress. He hoped that the leaders and the experts, especially for the every member of the council and academic committee actively build the environment for the translational medicine research hospital development, hold the direction and provide advice and suggestions, and turn into the hospital to be the important translational medicine research base in China.
