The 3rd China (Mianyang) Science and Technology City International High-Tech Expo held in Mianyang, Sichuan province, from September 17 to 20. Yan Qing, director of Bureau of Science and Technology for Development Chinese Academy of Sciences; Wang Xueding, secretary of the CPC Committee and executive vice president of Chengdu Branch; Chen Feng, vice president of Chengdu Branch; Wang Jiatu, vice secretary of the CPC Committee etc attended the High-Tech Expo activities. 

　　The expo has a total exhibition area of 80,000 square meters with 812 exhibitors, 27 of which are Fortune 500 firms. The Chinese Academy of Sciences organized more than 20 exhibitors、100 guests、 67 projects which include 40 physical exhibits. 

　　Lu Zhangong, vice chairman of CPPCC; Wang Dongming,secretary of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Wei Hong, Governor of sichuan province visited the CAS exhibitions. Wang Xueding introduced the information of the CAS exhibitions while Lu zhangong listened carefully and asked the details. He was especially interested in the voting system, which was exhibited by Chengdu Institute of Information Technology Co. 

　　During the High-Tech Expo, Peng Yuxing, party secretary of Mianyang , had a cordial meeting with Yan Qing and his group. In addition, Yan Qing investigated the Changhong Electronic Systems Ltd.
